Salta Province is located in the North of the country, near the border with Bolivia.  Is call “Salta the beauty” for the incredible and wild beautiful countryside.

The area, a natural roost on the Andes Mountains, started few years ago with faming in the fertile valleys for sunflower, corn, wheat and sorghum. This provides the perfect environmental for the bird’s populations and reproduces in few years in millions.  According with the National department of agriculture, there is in the area we hunt, over 100 millions birds, this make Salta the best dove destination in the country.  

Our parties stay in classic old estancia; hunting places are from 5 to 15 minutes away. Weather is dry and warm winters provide an excellent shooting from March to November. Everyday hunters will shot almost 8 hours to incredible and constant flocks of birds. 

There is great fishing for the Golden salmon and trout at the near by famous Rio Bermejo and many others options for the non-hunters.

Salta will become the number one dove destination of the world in the incoming years.

ITINERARY

  Day  1: 

Arrival to international airport of Salta, after a connection through Sao Pablo. Our staff will meet at airport and will help with gun clearance and customs. Transfer to the lodge (2 hours). Lunch and afternoon hunt.

Day  2  /  3: 

Full days of dove hunts. Morning start at 6:30 am, leaving for the fields at  7:30 am. Returning for lunch to the lodge and back after the hunt at 7:30 pm.  

Day   4: 

Morning hunt. Return to the lodge for lunch and pack. Transfer to Salta international airport for fly to the US.
